Had the stylus over a year now, and one day I tried to use it and it didn't work. So I changed the battery and then the pen works for about 10 seconds and the shuts down. The only way I can make it work again is if I take out the battery again and put it back in, then it works for 10 seconds again and stops. I'm really furious because of this 'cuse it is an expensive product and only worked normal for a year.....
Only recently I figured there is a LED light on top, that light never worked from day one. Moreover the button on the top worked only like 20% of the time when presses. Don't really know what to do now.... any tips?

Bamboo Ink stopped working
Re: Bamboo Ink stopped working
Sounds like the battery just died out. I would try a brand new battery. Also the top button will only work when the pen is connected and it depends on the protocol you are using.
Please replace the battery and check the instructions here for more details: https://www.wacom.com/en-de/getting-started/bamboo-ink

Re: Bamboo Ink stopped working
I'm having a similar problem but with full batteries. The pen stops working if I press either of the side buttons on the pen. Then the pen completely turns off and it doesn't work until I remove and put back the batteries (or simply unscrewing and re-screwing the battery lid).
Whenever this happens, I cannot use the pen itself and the side buttons. Holding the two side buttons to change the pen mode doesn't work. But for some odd reason, the top button still works with Bluetooth. Restarting the ISD Driver in this state won't do anything. I've just updated to Wacom Components Driver version: 7.6-29 using http://us.wacom.com/en/feeldriver/
Seems like opening the Wacom Pen panel (from the Windows Store) temporarily fixes it though. I'm not sure if this is a software bug, or it's the pen itself that's starting to fail.

Which computer you are using?
Also, there is no Wacom Pen driver or application from the Windows Store. Can you confirm which App do you mean exactly?

Re: Bamboo Ink stopped working
Or could it be due to physical issues, like a short-circuit or something along those lines?

I'll do that, thanks! Although I'm a little worried I won't get anything much fruitful since it's been a year or so since I've bought the pen and from eBay no less. I might have dropped it quite a few times or even water damage and never noticed since I almost never use the side buttons. It gets a little annoying even if I so as much as press it just a little bit.
Either way, I might just look to buy another pen or even the newer model of the Bamboo Ink
About the software from the Windows Store, I don't know if I copied the link right but it's this one: https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9P32CF64V70C
