Problem: Bamboo ink pen pressure sensitivity only works in windows ink. Third party programs don't work. (in Detail the programs attempted were gimp 2.0, fresh paint, and Autodesk Sketchbook.
Solutions Attempted: Installing the bamboo ink pen specific driver on Wacom's homepage
What went wrong: The driver refused to download stating that it could not find a supported device
Specifications:Using latest version of windows 10, On a Hp Specter x360 model: 13-ac023dx. The pen was connected via Bluetooth to the laptop.

Bamboo Ink is specificaly designed for Windows Ink and was tested with the tablets listed here: http://www.wacom.com/comp
It supports AES and MPP technology. If your HP device uses Microsoft MPP protocol, Bamboo Ink works only in apps supporting Windows Ink. If your tablet works with Wacom AES, installation of the driver can provide pressure in more apps (through the Wintab API)

Update: HP Spectre 360 is using the MPP protocol from Microsoft. (HP Spectre x2 uses the AES technology.)
