Zenpad 3s stylus alternative.

Postby Stevesparrow » Sat 5. Aug 2017, 17:30

Hi, I have one of these Asus tablets. It comes with active stylus capacity (Asus Z stylus), that is able to sense when the sylus is near. (And shuts down other inputs) The stylus used is not Bluetooth though, it seem to detect the current (it's a battery powered pen), but I've not been able to find anything about how it works. It works well, but I'd like to be able to use different nibs, for more traction.

I've been trying to find whether this is compatible with any of the wacom stylus?

Any advice or leads gratefully received.
(A regular capacitive stylus will of course work, but I'd lose the input lock-out when using it, which would be a shame.)

Thanks
Steve

The Zenpad is not in the compatibility list (http://www.wacom.com/comp).
If this is Wacom technology, the Bamboo Ink could work. Maybe you check in your consumer electronics store if they have a Bamboo Ink (http://www.wacom.com/products/stylus/bamboo-ink)?
