Express View not Working/Showing

Express View is not working on my system (Win10, Intous Pro S PTH-460)... it used to work but at some stage has stopped working and I cannot get it to work. The express keys work, it is just that the express view won't show so that I have trouble remembering what functions are assigned to the keys.

I have the latest driver at this time 6.3.40-2 installed. I have rolled back to an older driver and that hasn't worked. I have reinstalled latest driver and that doesn't work. I have manually uninstalled driver and cleaned any left over files and reinstalled and that hasn't worked.

I believe I've exhausted all options to sort this now and I am now looking for any help/suggestions that might help me get Express View to start showing again.

I do have that Express View button ticked and it does not work for me, and it doesn't work on either my laptop and my desktop. I have contacted support already, in the middle of last week but I still haven't had any response from them, hence me trying to find help here.

And for the sake of clarity here, because I'm not sure you have understood my question.... I am not talking about the Express Menu which you have shown in the above screenshot.

I am talking about the 'Express View'.... what I want to happen is that when I lightly touch the express keys there is a menu pops on the left hand side of the screen... and that menu shows you the shortcuts which have been assigned to the the 'Express Keys', it is that menu that is not showing up.

I also have the older version of the Intuos Pro S. When I use it, and turn of Express View that menu no longer shows up and when it is ticked it shows up.

I connected my new Intuos Pro S to the same computer and ticking and unticking the Express View option makes no difference the menu doesn't show up.

(as and aside here, I'm assuming you work for Wacom.... if you are ever in a meeting when you have a chance to say something about naming conventions could you ask that Wacom stop calling everything by the same of very similar names. It's really difficult trying to explain something when you are talking about a Wacom Intuos Pro S but there are two different model... two different model should mean two different names... )

Anyway today I got a new another Intuos Pro S while I await contact from your support team and I have added to my laptop and desktop and yet again I cannot get the Express View to show on either. So I had been thinking that the express keys weren't working on the original Intuos Pro S but now that doesn't seem to be the case. So I don't know what the problem is and wish someone at Wacom could help.

I know what Express View and On-Screen controls are. That was just an example. You can see my other keys are disabled since I don't use them.
From what I understand, you want it to work only when you touch the button without pressing right? This is a feature that only works for the and not press it like it did with the PTH-450 and PTH-451. It also works with the PTH-660 and the PTH-860
Unlike these two models, the PTH-460 no longer has the "touch" sensor on the button so it is not able to sense when you touch without pressing.
Your PTH-460 seems to be working as expected.

So again just to clarify (because I'm not sure if you've made a typo of not) I am talking about a PTH-460 (not a 640).

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that the PTH-460 no longer has the functionality where if you rest your finger on the Express Keys then the Express View pops up to let the user know what function is assigned to which Express Key. I bought this tablet in the belief it had this functionality.

Here is a screenshot from the Wacom Website.... from the instruction manual for the PTH-460, and it clearly states that "You can enable Express View so that you can rest your finger on an ExpressKey to show the current settings."

So are you saying that that is false, that what is in the manual is false?

Yes, it was a typo was on my side. Sorry about that.
I confirm the PTH-460 does not have touch sensitive ExpressKeys. I use one most of the time as well.

I agree that the manual is not very clear but we do state:

Please note that the product manuals are built with sections that overlap different Wacom devices. The ExpressKeys section is shared all Pen Tablets and not dedicated exclusively to the PTH-460.
