Wacom Intuos all SIZE Problem - CTRL+SHIFT retained

Postby Katanga » Tue 18. Aug 2020, 18:02

Hello guys,

sorry for my bad english but i have tell you that, so that i can help others.

Quick Overview:

bought a wacom tablet, installed the newest update.

When i clicked on 2 Expressbuttons. CTRL and SHIFT it freezes the command. Even if i dont touch the expresskeys, the command CTRL + SHIFT is active.

The Wacom Support Maria tried to help me, and in the end she said that i should by a new wacom tablet. (Oh man...)

I returned the tablet and bought a new one. The Intous L. Same PROBLEM! Reinstalled my complete computer, try to find the solution, nothing worked. Tried it on a macbook, imac, another Windows PC, same. CTRL+SHIFT are active, after clicking, even when you dont touch the buttons. Even when you unplug the tablet its still active.

So my solution: Downloaded manually an older verision. For me, WacomTablet_6.3.34-3

Now everything worked. I can click the buttons, without problems. No freezing, no nothing ;-)

Hi,
Thanks for sharing this. We will gather these details and report the bug to the driver team. The support team will probably need to gather some additional details.

Hello Wacom,

so sad. Until now nothing happened.

No new update, nothing from wacom. Cant work with my tablet and i will sell it.

Old drivers could be used, BUT with old drivers comes bad sinychronization with the pen. So its not usefull.

The Driver team has been able to reproduce the issue but a fix will only come with a future driver update. There is still no set date or other details of when this will happen.

Still the problem is there. With my Wacom Tablet.

I dont get it.

The newest driver is the same problem. When i want to sculpt something or move something in Zbrush, it works 1 minute, then the tablet is hanging there. Even with another wacom tablet.
After its hanging, 10 seconds or 20 seconds, it goes normal again. Then 1 minute later its hanging again. The cursor is sticking to the object and you cant release the cursor from the object.

So why this problem is there for so many months?

I can confirm as well. Stuck keys with the newest driver.

Looking forward to the obligatory "user error" or patently false "that was fixed in the last update" response from the Wacom moderators. At what point is this problem embarrassing enough to fix? It's been present going on years now across multiple different products.
