Months ago, I bought Wacom Cintiq 22.
According to wacom patents, Wacom EMR technology emits electromagnetic radiation around 250khz and 500khz to power its pen and communicate with it.
My portable AM radio detects strong signal near 560khz when it's around wacom cintiq.
I don't know any EMF meter that can give valid measurements in that frequency range in a close distance.
Does anyone know how much electromagnetic radiation Wacom Cintiq emits?
The unit can be V/m, uW/m^2, mW/m^2, dBm, etc, ...

How much electromagnetic radiation does Wacom EMR emit?
Re: How much electromagnetic radiation does Wacom EMR emit?
I want to know too. I put my emf reader next to my Cintiq and it went mental - more so than my router. I'm lodging a complaint and chucking it in the bin.
I have had tumours develop since using it... Benign as it stands. Legs and the arm I paint with. 7 yrs straight 5 days a week....

Re: How much electromagnetic radiation does Wacom EMR emit?
Our devices operate in the same frequency range as AM radio. AM radio waves have been around for ages and there has never been any evidence of wave sin this frequency range to be dangerous to health.
All our devices have the required health certifications wich can be found here: https://www.wacom.com/support/product-support/drivers
Also FCC tests which document RF emission here: https://www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid

So you're telling me, that you have personally seen your Cintiq kick out RF readings within the 'safe levels'
I highly doubt it... The Cintiq has been around for a decade at least... Maybe your newest models fall into this... But I can confirm by seeing the readings with my own eyes my 22inch Cintiq is throwing out at least 10x more than the safe limit.

Did you check the FFC test? If you have evidence that your device is emitting higher that it should, please contact our support.

Re: How much electromagnetic radiation does Wacom EMR emit?
Yes, I have an official report off of an independent EMF engineer - the bottom line is how the tablet operates - in essence, any wifi signal around you i.e router, uses the tablet as an extra 'antenna' of sorts - thus when the router is on, the tablet kicks out readings unreadable as its just to high as a reading - with Wifi OFF, the readings are still classed as high, but we can get a reading - thus factually, the tablet is interacting with the router.
I have moved the router 4m away and still its interacting - so I'm thinking, i need to be in a different room than the router - distance is our best friend in this instance.
