Turn off iMac screen while working on the Cintiq?

Postby ouscariqui » Sat 12. Aug 2017, 15:56

Hi. So far I worked with a Cintiq on a Mac Pro. While working on the Cintiq, I turned off the Apple Cinema Display. Perfect. Now I work with the same Cintiq plugged into a new iMac. But I am not able to turn off the iMac's screen while working on Cintiq... so I have two screens switched on for hours and hours, while I only need one of them at the same time :( Does anyone know if it is there a way to do this? I wish the iMac's brightness button would completely obscure the screen... sadly, it does not.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks bgood69, but cmd+shift+eject turns off both screens, iMac and Cintiq...
