Hi all, just got my new Cintiq Pro 13.
It's a blast but I was wondering if it was possible in any way to power it through an USB type C port (or several) out of the computer instead of plugging it to a wall.
Maybe with an adapter that splits power through 2 USB type C ports?
I'm willing to buy a new laptop if that's possible, the MacBook Pro comes with plenty of those USB C ports.
Has anyone found a workaround this, or tried, or failed or succeeded? Please let me know.

Re: Cintiq Pro 13 - Power through USB C laptop port
USB-C is basically only a connector, but unfortunately the actual functionality behind that can differ a lot: speed, power delivery, graphics signal are not same for any USB-C port. A USB-C port should always be able to power a USB2 type device with 5V and 500mA, but that is not sufficient for the Cintiq Pro. A USB-C port supporting 'power delivery' with the power needed for the Cintiq Pro (5A) should work, but we recommend to use the PSU included with the product.
