Resolution changes after waking from sleep

Postby KapaWaco » Sat 7. Jan 2017, 23:40

Hello Everybody!
Im clad Wacom got its forum back :)

I have Cintiq Companion 2 256Gb model and sill running it on Win 8.1
I have problems with resolution every time when I wake it from the sleep. After awake from sleep its bulled back to 1074x768 and the whole screen is made so big and I have to manually reset the resolution to its native to continue working or restart will fix it.
Sometimes need to use sleep mode to keep my work flow.
I havent figured out if its Wacom problem, Intel HD or Windows 8.1.
Everything runs on the latest drivers and updates. But still keeps doing this every single time.

Has anyone encountered this problem or similar one or perhaps can please point me to some clues where to find a solution for it.

Thank you in advance!

I see lots of ppl have problems with waking up from sleep mode, but with different symptoms. Does no one really have this same issue?

Today I also encountered sudden system crash resulting a shutdown :(

Well, Wacom told me its an issue with Intel display drivers and they are hoping to fix this with upcoming updates. This was stated on August 2017.
So far no changes :(

Optional FIX:
I use a tool called SetRes. And create a shortcut on desktop which switches my resolution back to its native state.
Its much more comfortable than doing it manually every single time.
