Hello, I've been using my Bamboo Spark for quite a long time, but I tired to see "full desktop support for Smartpads coming soon" on the Wacom website (http://www.wacom.com/en/products/apps-services/inkspace).
Does anybody knows if this is actually going to happen (be able to pair the smartpad with a laptop or PC) or is just something that Wacom forgot about?

Full compatibility with Windows
Re: Full compatibility with Windows
We are working on adding Windows support.
Unfortunately this is not as proceeding as quick as we thought. I can only apologize for the delay.

Re: Full compatibility with Windows
Hi, How is the "full desktop support" going?. It is Feb 2018 now.
I would really like to use my folio for work, but I just can't if all my meeting notes have to go through my personal phone or through a 3rd party cloud system (due to corporate policies etc.)
If I could upload them to my work windows 10 desktop PC through a bluetooth usb dongle, I think that would be fine.
Until then, I can't really use my Bamboo Folio for work.
I think the pad is REALLY GREAT in every other way, by the way.

The team is still working on this and other improvement for Inkspace and the Inkspace app. I expect to see an update for the software in a few weeks.

Re: Full compatibility with Windows
Hi, me again, is there any hope for this?
To recap, I would like to be able to download pages from my tablet directly to my Windows 10 PC through USB or Bluetooth _without_ going through my cell phone, or any cloud service.
Will that ever be possible?
Thanks,
Iain

Re: Full compatibility with Windows
I see there is a new version of the Windows Inkspace App (version 2.5.0) but this doesn't seem to recognize the folio by usb or bluetooth either.
It looks like it still requires an Intuos pro to connect directly.
So will this be a "Pro feature" forever then? If so I would remove the part on your website that still says "Full Desktop Support for Smartpads coming soon" and state clearly somewhere that the folio and similar pads/tablets cannot be used with a Windows PC so people can make a judgment about that before buying one.
I had such high hopes, but it looks like I won't be able to use it for my work. sniff.

...crickets... where is wacom1 or wacom2 or 3 or 4 ??
It really shouldn't say : "full desktop support for Smartpads coming soon" on the Wacom website (http://www.wacom.com/en/products/apps-services/inkspace) ..if there is no intention to provide it.

Re: Full compatibility with Windows
I want this support too..
Inkspace can be downloaded for Windows. When I run it on my PC it gives me the option to setup my device.
It the outlines instructions to connect to it via Bluetooth.
I try this with both my Sparc and Portfolio.
Both are visible in the Bluetooth menu and windows claims to connect to both.
However when Windows says the device connection is 'Done' the blue light continues to flash. (Makes me think connection failed)
Anyway when I go back to Inkspace as instructed nothing has changed.
Pretty disappointed as the Website seems to tell me that I can use my Smartpad with windows?

Re: Full compatibility with Windows
For Windows 10, there is a new version available in the Windows Store that will support Folio and Slate. This version will not work for Windows 7 or 8 unfortunately.
