Cintiq Pro 13 Touch Function Stops Working, Windows 10

I have my Cintiq Pro 13 connected to my Windows 10 PC. Everything runs fine, however after a few minutes the touch function on the tablet stops working. When I turn off the tablet and turn it back on, touch returns for a few minutes then stops again. Pressing the touch on/off button does not affect the function after it stops working; touch is shown as enabled when not working.

Also when drawing with the pen, the cursor will occasionally shoot off toward where I am resting my hand, drawing a line.

Let me know if anyone has had similar issues and has found a fix.
