Connecting a Cintiq Pro 16 to a PC

Postby plnelson » Mon 6. Aug 2018, 02:52

I just received my Cintiq Pro 16 and unboxed it.

It did not come with any instructions or user manual to describe how to hook it up to my PC. My PC is a Lenovo Thinkstation E31 with an NVidia Quadro 600 with a DVI connector and an HDMI connector. All the USB ports on this PC are USB type A (no USB C).

So how do I hook this up?

Thanks in advance.

You need an adaptor or cable to connect the mini Displayport on the Wacom Link to the DVI port on your Quadro 600. There are different kinds of DVI (mini DVI, DVI-I, DVI-D, DVI-A) and I'm not sure which you have (there are a few different Quadro 600s) so I don't want to suggest a specific one - check your connection on the graphics card first.

But this kind of lead is the sort of thing I think you need

That should give you a video signal, then just hook the usb port on the Wacom Link to a USB-A port and connect the Link to your Pro 16.
