I'm considering using the Bamboo Slate for our written exams. However, the rules strictly forbid using any form of devices requiring internet access. I would like to know if it’s possible to copy the files directly from the Bamboo Slate to a laptop without first uploading them to any cloud services?
Best regards

Use Bamboo Slate without Internet access
Re: Use Bamboo Slate without Internet access
Should be possible if you have the minimum requirements.
You'll need a computer with support for Bluetooth 4.0 and Windows 10 and/or Mac OSX10.12+
Please see here: https://www.wacom.com/en-de/getting-started/inkspace#Overview and also here: http://forum.wacom.eu/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1949
For your use, you might also want to consider a different device, the Wacom Clipboard - https://www.wacom.com/en-de/enterprise/business-solutions/hardware/smartpads/phu-111

Re: Use Bamboo Slate without Internet access
Thank you for the reply.
I'm sure you're right that the Wacom Clipboard would be better for the task than the Bamboo Slate.
however, I decided to spend a bit more and buy the Intuos Pro Paper Edition, as it seemed the most versatile in the long run :)
