The vender did not respond to my email as expected. So far the device runs really good despite the absent magnet in the left side. It’s not bothering me too much but I do have concerns of the value being hurt for resale if I ever want to sell it.

I just received my Cintiq Pro 24 and I got it from Amazon it has no magnets on the left side. Amazon is replacing it. I hope the replacement is ok. So it is not just b&h. Manufacturing date is 11/2018. This seems to be a scattered issue everywhere it is very frustrating that QC was not done on these very expensive monitors.

UPDATE: The second monitor has working magnets and no dust or dead pixels that I can detect with pixel apps. I am thrilled the issue was resolved.

I returned it because of the defect. The side that was faulty was actually the side I would use since I draw with my right hand. The return process is complete now I just have to decide where to buy the pro 24 to replace it.

I got my replacement cintiq 24 pro from Adorama Camera and it is perfect in every way. I bought new this time instead of refurbished. It came super fast too in about 2 days with free shipping and no tax. I cant stop drooling over it its so nice to draw on. Totally loving that etched glass. This is Wacom's best product yet. Magnets are ok in this one and now that I have one that doesn't have my previous problem I feel much better about it. In the end it was worth returning and getting one that was perfect.
