So I've just bought a Cintiq 16 for around $628 (€570) and recently the store I bought the Cintiq 16 in decreased their price for the Cintiq 22HD so at the moment it cost around $966 (€878). I still can return the Cintiq 16 and get my money back.
So I'm basically wondering if it is worth buying the Cintiq 22HD for sale? I'm having a real hard time deciding, it is nice that it has express keys, stand and is bigger but it's also 7 years old and not sure how long it will hold and I don't know what will happen if they stop with the drivers for it.
I'm also skeptical about how good quality the screen is, can you see the pixels clearly? Now I am just drawing as a hobby and I doodle alot so I don't draw matte paintings or highly detalied drawings.
What do you guys think?

Re: Cintiq 16 or Cintiq 22HD?
I don't know what the difference between the 22HD and this newer 22 they just came out with - but aren't they just the same units with the same resolution?
I think the 22's have HD resolution, which is 1080.
Which means that is really old, out of date technology.
I would keep your 16 and save up some more cash for a new Cintiq to be honest. A newer Cintiq with 4K resolution. It makes no sense to buy a product with a display resolution that is from 10 years ago.
Keep your 16 (at least you can still move around with it instead of being pinned to your desk using a 22") ... and then wait for a while until these newer 4K Cintiqs come down in price (whenever that may be)
