I cannot get Windows 8 gestures with Bamboo CTH-460/K to work.

I have installed the windows 8 driver? Is there anything I must turn on?

This is the guide i'm looking at: http://www.wacom.eu/_bib_user/dealer/wgg_en.pdf
This is the driver I have installed: ftp://ftp.wacom-europe.com/pub/WINDOWS/cons532-1_int.exe
I've also tried this driver: http://forum.wacom.eu/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2369

When you install the 5.32-1 driver version, most Win8 gestures should work. The guide explains it in more details. Of course, not all apps support touch gestures and some Windows gesture are designed for touchscreen devices only and will not work on touchpads. The tablet properties panel shows the supported gestures.

If something is not working as explained in this documentation, it could be a bug in the driver, that we need to check and test.

Well, I installed it, it asked me to restart, I restarted.. and yet my touch is still working like a mouse? I'm guessing there is a place to turn the gesture on?

I'm going to install the software as well: http://bamboocd.s3.amazonaws.com/update/bamboo_setup_web0407final.exe

Okay so yea, my CTH-460 only has the gestures it had since windows 7, which is:

tap with one finger,
add touch to the left,
tap with two fingers,
Drag/select,
Scroll,
zoom,
rotate,
forward and back...

There is no reference to the windows 8 charm bar or indeed any of its features :D

Should it have them?

Any further comments to this, I've wasted an entire day trying to get this to work; it being the only reason I got the tablet lol.

Swipe with one finger from the right edge of the tablet to the center to open Win8 charms (or move the mouse pointer to the top or lower corner of the screen). This is explained in the gesture guide (http://www.wacom.eu/_bib_user/dealer/wgg_en.pdf)

okay so, unfortunately doing this just moves my mouse a little to the left :( . It simply is not working. I'm on touch mode on the device. I think it's a fault with your driver guys :(, please ask for any more information... i'll be happy to help...

The finger must be moved from the outside of the touch area at the right side towards the center and you need the 5.32 or 5.30 driver for that. We do not see a problem here with that.

I'm going to try and uninstall everything bamboo related and start fresh. The guide you have supplied is well explained and it is obvious that you need to do that, so trust me.. it's not me and my clumsy fingers doing it wrong :) . I'll get back to you with the outcome.
