Hurricane Florence Alert:
A rather large hurricane is set to hit the East Coast of the United States at the end of this week. Because of its size and threat to life & property there have already been significant evacuations in the areas expected to be hit worst. Hopefully things do not turn out as bad, but we will probably see shipping delays to and from that area (our North America distribution center is in Memphis, TN, close to the area).
If you are in the US region and you order something during this period, please see check https://www.ups.com/us/en/service-alerts.page?id=alert1 for possible alerts.

Slate is paired but Inkspace doesnt recognize it

Postby millertraci » Tue 24. Apr 2018, 02:25

I have paired my Slate with my computer/desktop. Dell Inspiron. It has worked in the past, but today it stopped working with Inkspace.

Specifically, it is paired in the bluetooth settings of the computer but in inkspace, it says it is not paired.

https://www.screencast.com/t/H6GyLpE2

I have tried several times, following the onscreen instructions and I can never move past the pairing instructions (The NEXT never becomes available).

I cant find this specifically in the topics so if this is a repeat, please point me to the existing answer.

Thanks

The Slate and Folio should be paired with Inkspace on a mobile device running iOS or Android. The desktop Inkspace App does not support the Smartpads.

Hello,

Just curious, if it doesn't work, how did he succeed in getting the two paired? His screenshot appears to show some synchronized documents?

thanks,

cedric

Inkspace is a cloud servive and if you pair and sync the Slate on a mobile device the docoments can be accessed in any browser as well as the Inkspace app for desktop operating systems.

Inkspace can be downloaded for Windows. When I run it on my PC it gives me the option to setup my device.

It the outlines instructions to connect to it via Bluetooth.

I try this with both my Sparc and Portfolio.

Both are visible in the Bluetooth menu and windows claims to connect to both.

However when Windows says the device connection is 'Done' the blue light continues to flash. (Makes me think connection failed)

Anyway when I go back to Inkspace as instructed nothing has changed.

Pretty disappointed as the Website seems to tell me that I can use my Smartpad with windows?
