pth 660 pen pressure problems

Postby impression » Mon 10. Sep 2018, 18:07

Hi.

I just bought the pth 660 recently and got this weird problem of popping pen pressure.
So basically when i paint some dots with the same pressure, every few seconds it feels like its loosing the pressure sensitivity.
What i get is a massive big dot every few seconds....it feels quiet random and i never had any of such problems with different wacom tablet before.

I am working with Photoshop CC 2018.

Does anyone has an idea what i could do about it? Is the pen broken?

The other question: Why does the pro pen 2 doesn`t come with the white spring nibs?
I really miss them :(
Is there any solution about it?

For the pen pressure: Please check https://www.wacom.com/en-gb/support?gui ... 0675040cb6
And check if you can see pressure "spikes" in the diagnostics window.
For a more detailed review we will need every possible details from your setup...

The "spring nibs" (Stroke Nib) cannot be built for the new pen sensor design. With the raise of pressure levels the nibs needed to get thinner to make the room for the new technology. Adding a spring to the nib would have been impossible.
You can use your old Pro Pen or Grip pen with the Stroke Nib for your Wacom Intuos Pro though...
