Intuos Pro M paper - Paper function not working

Hello guys,

Just bought an Intuos pro M Paper edition from amazon-

But found out that the tablet is not detecting the ink using paper mode, when I hover it with the pen, the led with the plus sign turns green, but when I actually ink, it doesn't turn blue.

I have all the drivers and updates (including firmware) installed, Inkspace and wacom desktop center seems to be detecting the device just fine.

Apart for this everything seems to work just fine,

There is any workaround or this is an hardware problem?

Update: just asked for a replacement and the new one is working as supposed.
