Touch ring way too sensitive

Postby PeterKelly » Tue 9. Apr 2019, 11:01

Only recently, the touch ring on a Cintiq 27 QHD Touch is behaving oddly in certain applications (mostly Photoshop).
If I use it to zoom it is almost uncontrollable, regardless of the settings, moving way too fast and sometimes changing even when lifting my thumb.

Bizarrely, in other applications, such as Lightroom, the reverse seems to be the case with the brush controls, which can take an eternity to change size.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to a solution and why this may have only just started? I've used it and a 24HD for years without issue.

Please clarify which operating system and which driver version you are currently using.

What you report sounds more like an Adobe issue since it only happens with PS and not with Lr.

You can adjust the scroll speed of the Touch Ring to slow and see if it helps. In alternative, you can also manually set the Touch Ring functions to the respective shortcut and see if it behaves the same way. See: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/default-keyboard-shortcuts.html
