I have the cintiq companion 1 with intel i7, 250 gigs hard drive and 8 gigs memory. WIndows 10 with last drivers from wacom.
I was trying to connect the mini display port to a HDMI or digital connector but it cannot detect any external monitor. I have tried two different cables and different monitors.

I never tried before. Do I miss something or simply it won't work?

Hi, I know this thread is old, but it doesn't seem to have been resolved and I have the same problem.
My Cintiq is the only computer I own right now and I am trying to connect it to a bigger screen for a dual display (or just for a bigger display!)
Connecting the mini-display port to the HDMI end of a TV screen, the TV keeps showing ''no signal''.
I tried two different cables, updated the whole system plus the display driver manually. Nothing works.
Now I have two hypothesis left:
1-The Cintiq 1 is input only and is not able to output a signal. (Can Wacom confirm this PLEASE!)
2-It was possible but Windows 10 messed it up. (Is there a fix for it?)

Please help!!

I doubt this is a Windows issue. Most likely it's the mDP to HDMI conversion that is not working. You should look for an active mDP to HDMI adaptor.
