How do I register my Wacom device?

New Operating System releases:
macOS 12 ("Monterey") support: Is there a driver for macOS 12 Monterey?
Windows 11 support: Is there a driver for Windows 11?

Issues with MS Edge browser:
When MS Edge is updated to version 94 and then opened and interacted with a Pen display the computer will crash and give the “Blue screen of death.”
This is NOT a Wacom driver issue, it has been reported from other devices using Windows Ink as well.
Disabling Windows Ink in Windows will resolve the issue.

Wacom Desktop Center does not recognize CTH-470

My CTH-470 Bamboo tablet's pen pressure suddenly stopped working the other day, and I tried following directions I found on other websites to fix it. Most suggested I use the Desktop Center but it doesn't even detect the device and simply says "no device connected."

I've tried unplugging the tablet, restarting my computer, uninstalling programs, almost everything I can think of but the Desktop Center doesn't detect the device nor is the pen pressure working. Is there a fix to this? I know its an older tablet so I'm not sure all that I can do for it. Any help is appreciated!

The Wacom Desktop Center is installed with a driver version that doesn't support the CTH-470 so this troubleshooting doesn't apply to your device model. That device has been out of service for a while now so it won't be supported by any new driver releases.

Please use the correct driver which you can find here: https://www.wacom.com/support/product-support/drivers

If you continue having issues please confirm your operating system version and which applications you are using that support pressure. Additional settings may be required.

I installed the correct driver and restarted, something happened but I don't know what. The computer registers the tablet is plugged in (makes a sound) but the tablet itself doesn't work nor lights up.
I use Windows 10 and the program I'm trying to get the pen pressure on is Clip Studio Paint EX. The pen pressure worked fine for most of my time of owning CSP which is since about two weeks ago, so it just started having issues a few days ago.
